Our Story
Started with flour,
sugar, and a cast-iron pot
Elgin Donuts began as a weekend project — a small batch of doughnuts fried in a neighbor's kitchen and sold out of a cooler at the local feed store. Word spread fast. By the second month, people were stopping by from Austin and Round Rock just to taste what everyone was talking about.
Today we're a fixed spot on Highway 290 East, but the approach hasn't changed: we make every batch by hand, fry to order, and close when we run out. No mix from a bag. No holding under a heat lamp. Just dough, butter, and the kind of attention that only comes from doing one thing over and over until it's right.
